Get out your family grouping

Whatsoever family unit fellow member age 13 or older* can remove themselves from a family unit group. If you have Screen Time turned on for your account, the family organizer must remove you.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap your proper name, then tap Family Sharing.
  3. Tap your name.
  4. Tap End Using Family Sharing.

On your Mac

  1. Cull Apple menu  > Organization Preferences, then click Family Sharing.

Disband a family group

When the family unit organizer turns off Family unit Sharing, all family members are removed from the group at the same time. What happens when you stop sharing?
